	<title>Online Relationships</title>
	<description>

 Ever tried online dating? It can be both fun and accomplishing.
 There are a lot of good reasons people turn to online relationships, but when you get started, it can be discouraging.

What you can get out of online relationships
If you're logging on to an online dating site for the first time, you'll need to create a profile and add a photo. Before you do that, try to read what other people put in their profiles (if you can) and see what you like. See what kinds of descriptions attract you, then write yours in that same style. Be honest, and include a picture. If you don't, it's like you have something to hide. (We're not going to lie to you--people probably won't give your profile a second look without a picture--of yourself, not someone else posing as you.)

Chances are, you're going to have to weed through quite a few people who are not your type just to get to the one or two that might be. And even then it can be scary. But a lot of online relationships have actually turned into successful real life relationships. Some have even ended in marriage! And if you're tired of the bar scene and your friends haven't set you up with anyone you're interested in, trying online relationships might be fun!

It gives you something to look forward to when you log in to your email each day. You might not have anyone to come home to yet, but online relationships give you something to look forward to, so you at least have someone to "talk" to online. It might take going through a couple of online relationships (maybe even a few) before you find the right person. Or you might find that an online relationship doesn't suit you at all. If that's the case, then at least you gave it a try!
