	<title>Online Dating Sites</title>
	<description>
Dear Dater In Distress,

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but if you're looking for online dating sites you are probably in trouble.

 Not having any luck meeting people in person?
 Got the look but don't got the words to back it up?
 Are first-impressions just not your forte?
 Would you rather get digital and know your dating partner first?

We all have our reasons for taking our search for romance online - such an impersonally and fundamentally unromantic venue - but surprisingly online dating sites work for a great many people.

What to expect from online dating sites
In the beginning, expect nothing more than a name, a description, and maybe a picture. All of this - or none of this - may be true to the individual behind it, but that doesn't matter, what matters is that you've found someone who piques your interest. Follow that interest, get into contact with this potential dating partner via e-mail, phone messages, whatever - just get into contact with them. Don't freak out when upon your first contact your online date turns into a disappointment - such is the consequence of online dating sites, you never know who or what to expect. But f you have a nice conversations - learn a little about them, they learn a little something about you - it might be time to take that relationship offline.

Meet in person as soon as possible!
So much of dating is about physical attraction, touching, desire, always shooting for more. It makes dating fun, and this is an excitement online dating sites can never duplicate. The moment you feel comfortable with this cyber-creature, and the moment you feel comfortable that a meeting would not result in disaster, ask to meet. If they say no right away just sign off - you're dealing with an online dating mirage. But if your counterpart is serious - if they too are using online dating sites to actually meet people they might never have met otherwise - then they will be just as excited and ready to see you. Just be sure to use your own good judgement and not do anything that you are not comfortable with. And make sure that when you do meet, it is is a public place. Don't venture into secluded places until you are very sure about the other person.
